Black-and-grey work built the long way — smooth grey wash, deep blacks and the tonal range that makes ink read as photograph rather than drawing.

Faces are unforgiving; a millimetre is a different person. Portraits are quoted individually and always begin with a consultation.

The session
A date is held with a deposit. Large pieces are broken into sessions and planned as one composition from the start.
Aftercare
You leave with written aftercare and a direct line to the studio. Healing is part of the work, not an afterthought.
Two tiers, published honestly.
The studio’s artists carry more than seven years of experience each and work to published rates. Master Cong Bui’s own work is quoted individually, and promotional rates never apply to it.
Master pieces are quoted per design, and studio promotions never apply to work by Cong Bui. All prices in Singapore dollars and confirmed at consultation; sizes are measured on the longest edge.
The answers before you ask.
Single-use needles and cartridges, sterilised equipment and a fresh set-up for every client. The studio holds itself to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety — ask to see anything you want to see.
Nothing. Consultation is free, in studio or over WhatsApp. You are quoted before anything is booked, and the quote does not change on the day.
Your idea or a reference image, the size in centimetres, the placement, a clear well-lit photo of the area, whether you want colour, and whether it is a new piece or a cover-up. That is enough for an accurate quote.
It depends entirely on size, detail and placement. You will be given a realistic estimate at consultation — including how many sessions a large piece needs — rather than an optimistic one.
A deposit secures your date and goes towards the final price. Jessie confirms the amount when your date is held. Let us know in good time if you need to move and we will work with you.
Keep it clean, keep it moisturised, and keep it out of the sun, the pool and the sea while it settles. You get full written aftercare on the day, and you can message the studio any time while it heals.

Cong Bui
Founder and lead artist of Lion Ink, with more than ten years of professional tattooing behind him. Recognised by World Tattoo Events among its Top 13 Tattoo Masters in the World, and a repeat Best of Show winner across Asia and Europe.
He is invited as an international judge from Thailand to France, and mentors artists across Asia — several of whom have gone on to win Best of Show titles themselves.
